I've always recorded using module sequenced sounds to DA tape - so this is all new. Question: When for ex. I am using sounds from Reason 4 soft synths and I have a sequenced song - done and mixed/recorded on Cubase - I noticed that when I close Reason - with the Cubase recorded events still in place - no sound happens even though the meters still "jump." I guess I expected the sounds from Reason to have been literally "recorded" to Cubase to then be played with Reason closed - similar to how Cubase would actually record a voice or guitar. Do I have to change it (Reason sounds) to an audio file? If so, where and how? Lastly, when a song is done - it all gets "boiled down" to a wav file - then to CD? Again, if so, where and how? Thank you. |
