The parts themselves are being shifted to the beginning and the behaviour appears to be somewhat "random" since I can never know which parts it will be after I copy and paste them into a new project.

There are no problems with the parts themselves, ie., notes and all track information such as the notepad and instrument are retained, which I am very happy about but I'd like to know how I can program a track so that all parts on a particular track appear where I intend them to be and not have to extend each part back to the beginning in order to stop this unwanted behaviour.
