I appreciate your replies but the other forum post is unrelated and I do not believe that it has as of yet been adequately resolved.

In regard to the issue with Halion and other plug-in's, I find I can "work around" the issue without having to close and re-open a project by saving the preset, rescanning in media bay and then creating an Instrument Track based on the intrument in question and then loading the saved patch.
