Wavelab 6 Beginner
      #6989 - 05/22/08 05:14 PM

I just finsihed recording my file in cubase and then cutting it down to get to 700MB and some change, and then exported it, burned it to a CD through Wavelab, and tested it out to make sure it would play some i'm all good on that.

Now when it comes to bringing the file up in Wavelab for mastering and then making my track markers. What is the best way to do this? I tried opening an Audio Montage and then opening up the file but then there is two separate windows so this isn't right. So what would be the right way?

Oh yea to add I'm running Vista Ultimate and whenever I'm recording in Cubase I turn my antivirus off, Disable my WiFi (My Internet Source), Mute the PC sound, and turn my firewall off. When I'm using Wavelab do I have to do all of this as well or is it recommended or does it even matter?

Do you have Wavelab Essential 6, Wavelab Studio 6 or Wavelab 6?

If you have Wavelab 6 and you already have all your tracks mastered, you could go to File - New - and select Basic Audio CD. In the Basic Audio CD window, you can add the audio tracks you want on your CD and control how much time there is between tracks among other things.

Hope this helps.
