How to save controller settings?
      #4926 - 12/11/07 01:41 PM

I'm using CubaseLE together with ProteusLE and I've got two problems: It seems to be impossible to save the controller settings ( Tone, Presence, Aux...). I read the manual carefully, but the programm stores only the instruments. What can I do? The second problem: I downloaded some other Vstis ( dll-files) but don't know how to use it within Proteus Bankfiles. Isn't it possible with the LE version or are dll-files the wrong format?

Those DLL files are for other instruments or plug ins. Those are not sound banks for another vst instrument. What virtual instrument isn't saving settings?

Thanks very much for your answer. Saving the controller settings doesn't work with any sound in the moment. The manual puts stress on saving the bank, otherwise it saves nothing. Maybe I'm doing something wrong at this point? The most important thing for me however is getting new sounds - especially stringsounds. Is it possible with ProteusLE, if yes: How does it work. Or do I need the Fullversion of Proteus?

Saving the controller settings works now. ( I forgot to set the initial controllers.) The second problem remains: Is it possible to get new sounds using ProteusLE or do I need ProteusX?

Check with the company that make Proteus. I don't know off the top of my head whether there are additional sounds available.
