The signal into Cubase from a Dynamic mic for vocals seems very weak. Is there a Cubase software setting that can increase sensitivity, or is a vocal pre-amp needed or preferred. Yes, I'm using the Phantom power boost for the Firebox?? Suggestions on low cost vocal pre-amps for no more that 4 vocal inputs? I use it for all my mics, bass, and guitar when I go direct. You can also use it in live applications with instruments or mics. You wont regret getting one.
