Hello,
What should I do to get another disc?
I got in touch with a technician in January, and registered online thanks to my USB key number, following his instructions . He promised to send me a new CD, we're in April, and I haven't received it yet. Even more, I try to follow-up but they don't answer to my emails anymore! I'm really starting to be upset about this, I have some editing to do on an old project.
If any of you could tell me if there is a better way to get a new CD, I'd really appreciate!

I do see your registration now. We have not stocked any SL 1 discs in quite some time. Germany discontinued their production a few years ago. Let me search our office here and if I can find a disc I can make you a copy.

I just don't get it: I sent my first email mid January . After having been told that I will receive a CD, I had to use this forum to get some follow-up on April 7. Sent Kyle a private message on April 19th, and I'm still waiting!!!
What do I need to do to finally get a copy on this installation CD..... after 4 months????!!!!

Unfortunately, we do not stock any SL1 cds any longer and I was not able to find a extra disc laying around here. With the product being discontinued many years ago the discs have not been in production for some time.

Wow... almost 5 months to get this answer.. Great help!
Since my key is now useless, I guess I'll switch to Sonar instead of upgrading to Cubase Studio 4.

Sorry for the delay on the email in January. I searched our office high and low for an extra disc and we do not have anymore. Once a product has been discontinued for so long, new discs are not made anymore and once our remaining stock is gone there is no way for us to get another disc. You can still upgrade to a current version of Cubase at www.steinbergusers.com. If you are using Vista or wanting to use Vista you will have to do this regardless.
