What needs to be loaded on the slave? Anything? Are the VST instruments from the Mother computer or the slave? Does the slave merely process the VST's on the Mother computer? Has far as what you do on each is entirely up to you. you can run instruments on one machine and work audio on the other or just use the second machine for effects.
