Audio track 1 playback
      #7332 - 06/24/08 11:41 AM

Hi folks, Newbie here. I have a similar problem. I followed the tutorial and laid down an audio track for keyboard and rythm and saved the project, closed out the program, opened back up and cannot hear the play back to play guitar along with the 1st track. I am using Lexicon Lamda audio interface and have done everything the manual said with no results. I am sure it is some stupid little thing that I have missed but can't find any help in the manuals. Help anyone?

Hello,

Does the guitar track meter on playback? Is the record enable or monitor enable turned on? Thank you.

Chris, i'll admit I am "Cyber-challenged" (a 71 year old analog trying to live in a digital world).Lord, have mercy on my soul. Sooo, I try to read the manuals and guides but I am obviously missing something somewhere. When I laid down the first track it played back perfectly. After I saved and re-opened to do 2nd audio I am getting nothing. I have placed the L and R locaters, went into cycle mode, monitor is On for trk 1, and off for trk 2, headphones in proper out put for Lex Lamda,, monitor settings by the book, hit the play button--nothing over the phones.. This is my first attempt and have followed the tutorial carefully excpt for the "saving"--I couldn't continue with trk 2 immediately and had to save. I'm not sure what you mean by the guitar trk meter. Can you be more specific or graphic and maybe I can do as you suggested. going on a trip today so it maybe a week before I get to try again. Regards, and thanks for your response, Buddy

Hello,

When you press play on Cubase, do you see the guitar tracks meters (flashing LED's) on the mixer moving up and down (metering).

The monitor enable is the little orange speaker button next to record enable, make this is turned OFF (not orange) when you are trying to playback. Thank you.
