Problems with Vista
      #3464 - 06/21/07 01:17 AM

Well, I have my LE on Vista and was wondering if anyone has had any problems with their LE on Vista. Mine doesn't open sometimes and i have to restart. That's about it.

Hello,

Le is not designed to function on Vista, so I'm surprised its working. When it does not start, what does it stall on?

One time it was resources, another time it was MIDI. If I had it open and closed it and want to re-open it, It will initial and freeze before loading any component. But it still works like a champ other than that.

Since LE is not supported with Vista, it's hard to tell how the program will react. At some point, you may want to consider upgrading to Cubase Studio 4.

Is Studio 4 compatible with Vista? Also, should I stick to Computer recording or upgrade to a real recorder like a tascam or something like that.

I'm using LE with Vista and so far no problems ... I read somewhere, to open up BOTH FIREWALLS before loading in the software ...Windows firewall and anti virus firewall
