creating new audio track in Sequel2

after selecting add new track and selecting audio, I do not get an empty field in the instrument list. Meaning I cannot open an audio file for an external instrument. I use a MOTIFES8 as keyboard with mLAN16E interface.

Were do I have to look for what I have done wrongly. Is it somewhere in the mLAN setup, I have audio out on mLAN1 and 2. Do I have to something in the remote setup?
