no sound

I AM PRETTY NEW AT THIS CUBASE 4 LE. HOW DO I USE A TRACK FOR RECORDING THROUGH A MICROPHONE. I CANNOT EVEN HEAR THE MICROPHONE WHEN IT IS NOT RECORDING CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME?

Hello,

What kind of mic are you using? What kind of audio interface or soundcard are you using to record? Mac or PC?
