1. Insert your Cubase SX3 DVD into your DVD drive.

2. Click on the start menu located in the lower left of the screen. Click and open My Computer.

3. Double click on the CD drive that is labeled Cubase SX3.

4. Double click on setup.exe.

5. You will be prompted to install Syncrosoft License Control Center. This software manages your dongle and license(s).

6. Setup will ask if you want the program to be usable by all users, or just the current account.

7. Next, Cubase SX3 will request personal information as well as your serial number**.
**The serial number you enter here is a 25-letter authorization code found on your CD sleeve. During the installation it should ask for your auth # number not your serial #.

8. Cubase will now prompt you to choose an install location for SX3. We recommend you use the default location.

9. Setup should ask if you would like the program to be usable by all users or the current account.

10. Cubase SX3 will now install to your computer.

11. Clicking finish will finalize the installation.

12. You will find a Cubase SX3 icon on your desktop, which will launch the program.
