I lose my grid snapping with the cursor when I zoom in very far. What is going on?

Although the Snap On/Off icon stays lit, snapping for the cursor turns off whenever you zoom in further than three times the specified quantize distance. At the moment, lowering your quantize so that at least three times this distance is visible horizontally before using the cursor as a guide for any layout, seems to be the best workaround.
