Why can't I get my Steinberg program to recognize audio?

Your Steinberg program will not recognize audio unless your:

• Audio hardware has audio fed into an input
• The audio hardware has been installed and properly configured
• The audio hardware must be selected as an ASIO driver in the VST Multi-track settings
• A proper input has been setup in the VST Connections
• Audio track/channel has been set to record from a valid input
• Audio track/channel is not set to "Monitor"
• "ASIO Direct Monitoring " may be activated
