Why do I experience a crash when exporting an audio mixdown?

The most likely reasons are:

1. Your CPU has inadequate resources to complete the task due to too many real-time effects and plug-ins being used in the current project.

2. The hard disk location you are exporting to contains disk errors or bad sectors.

3. The hard disk you are exporting to shares hardware resources with other computer components (such as using Firewire based audio hardware and exporting to a firewire hard drive, etc).

4. The project itself is corrupt.

5. There are too many background applications active while exporting the audio mixdown.

6. The computer has insufficient RAM (Memory).
