When I try to export 6 separate tracks of a 5.1 surround sound mix, why am I informed that the file will be mixed down to a mono or stereo file?

To export a 5.1 surround sound mix in 6 individual channels, you must set the Channels option in the Audio Mixdown page to N.Chan. Split . This will export 6 files representative of the 6 channels in your 5.1 mix.
